Dress rehearsals are a run-through of the show. They allow students to practice waiting backstage, entering and exiting the stage, any costume changes, and SO MUCH MORE! Dress Rehearsal is where we make sure there are no costume malfunctions. It's also a time to ensure secure hairstyles and an excellent practice for make-up application! 

 

Dress Rehearsal takes place at the Merryman Performing Arts Center. 

 

What does the whole process look like? 

 

1. Students should arrive at the Merryman Performing Arts Center 15 minutes before their scheduled time.

2. Use the doors west of the main entrance leading to Central Elementary School Gym. 

3.  Students should arrive with their hair and make-up already done. 

4. Stop at our check-in table and get checked in.

5. Check-in staff will direct you to the assigned dressing area, where students will put on their costumes!

6. The teacher will line students up and prepare them to take the stage.

7. After performing, they will be released to their parents or the dressing area to change into their next costume!
